Khorfakkan Shees Park
A beautiful spot awaits, located near Wadi Shees and nestled in the mountains, called Shees Park in Khorfakkan. The place covers 11,300 square meters and features 500 meters of mountain walkways – presenting incredible views of the landscape. The park includes of playing areas for children, shaded benches and well-designed facilities with a strong focus on safety and environmental care.
Al Rafisah Dam
The dam was built in the 1980s, and has been excellently upgraded with a lake, ideal for tourists who would like to try out boating or kayaking. Other than the lake view, you can have the opportunity to encounter prayer time in Khorfakkan at the local mosque, a visitor center, restaurants or you can explore the nearby Wadi Shees Fortress. Visit the Khorfakkan Fort and immerse in history with the restored watchtowers standing proudly on the mountain top.
Khorfakkan Amphitheater
Before you jump into the Roman architecture, you should snap a picture in front of the Resistance Monument building at Khorfakkan Square. The Amphitheater is a cultural landmark, which makes it a famous and unique tourist attraction in the area, very close to the Khorfakkan beach location. It is equipped with an up to date cooling system so that visitors can enjoy the performances comfortably.
Khorfakkan Waterfall
You will be amazed by this breathtaking place right beside the iconic Amphitheater, also close to popular Khorfakkan hotels. The man-made waterfall is 45 meters high, blends nature with art with the magical sight, that is perfect for photography, relaxing or enjoying a peaceful walk along Khorfakkan Beach.
Khorfakkan Beach
Khorfakkan Heart Beach is a beautiful 3 kilometer long coastal escape, surrounded by palm trees, located to the north of the city center.
